This mango and orange smoothie is an easy fruit smoothie that comes together in just a few minutes. It has a smooth, creamy yet light texture without being heavy and a vibrant citrus flavor that pairs perfectly with sweet frozen mango. It’s one of those smoothies that kids love for a refreshing afternoon snack and tastes similiar to an orange creamsicle smoothie with no banana.

This orange mango smoothie combines frozen mango, fresh orange, unsweetened almond milk, vanilla extract, and a splash of lime juice. The mango provides natural sweetness and a creamy texture, while the orange adds brightness and a fresh citrus flavor. The lime juice enhances the fruit flavors and adds a subtle tangy finish.

Adding orange zest enhances the natural orange flavor to make the best tasting orange and mango smoothie. The vanilla extract rounds out the citrus flavors, giving the smoothie a slight vanilla undertone that pairs beautifully with the mango and orange combination.

Using unsweetened almond milk keeps this smoothie light while adding a touch of creaminess. For a creamier, thicker smoothie, you can substitute soy milk instead.

My little girl loves fruit smoothies like this one, especially on warm days when she wants something cold and refreshing. If you enjoy fruit forward smoothies that are naturally sweet and easy to make, this orange mango smoothie recipe is a great choice. The following recipe makes one large smoothie.

Mango and orange are one of my favorite fruit combinations because they complement each other so well. Mango brings a naturally sweet, tropical flavor, while orange adds a refreshing citrus taste that keeps the smoothie tasting light and refreshing. Together, they create a balanced smoothie that satisfies a sweet craving.

I also like that this smoothie relies entirely on fruit for sweetness. There is no need for added sugar because the ripe mango and orange provide plenty of natural sweetness on their own. However, if you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add a dash of maple syrup or liquid monk fruit sweetener.
